BRITAIN’S first ever school of bushcraft – Woodlore – is recruiting camp assistants to join its field team for the 2025 UK course season.
The school, established by Ray Mears in 1983, has courses covering a wide range of topics. Each course is designed to be immersive while providing new insights into the natural world, and developing self-confidence.
“We are looking for motivated, hard working people to join our field team, providing excellence and professionalism on our world renowned bushcraft courses,” a spokesperson for Woodlore said.
“If you have passed our Fundamental Bushcraft or Journeyman courses and have experience with catering outdoors, off-road driving, or other relevant skills we’d love to hear from you.”

Applications close on October 14 2024. Successful applicants will then be invited to a practical selection weekend this winter.
