SCANDINAVIAN brand Outwell has released its Discovery Air Collection – a series of three simple-to-understand inflatable family tents for those who are new to camping or moving from pole for the first time.
The latest addition to the Outwell line-up offers three sizes of Starhill tunnel tent − 4A, 5A and 6A. All benefit from the manufacturer’s well-known focus on design and quality to balance practicality and price in these introductory tents.
Discovery Air tents are made from Outtex 3000 Select – a time-proven polyester fabric with a 3,000mm hydrostatic head. This is supported by the Outwell Rigid Air System to ensure easy pitching and weather-beating characteristics. The design team says a correctly pitched Discovery Air tent can withstand a Force 9 storm.

Luminous guy lines, featuring the new ‘Rapid Guyline Adjusters’, are highly visible in poor conditions and at night to help prevent accidental tripping.
The cowl-protected side mesh vents positioned under the windows improve both ventilation and views out. The windows’ tinted finish is designed to protect from UV light and glare as well as offering a high degree of privacy enhanced by toggle-up curtains.
In the Starhill 6A, the main front door leads onto the living area while a rear door adds handy access straight onto the inner and ventilation when required. Other features include the Outwell HookTrack System that allows lights and small items to be positioned where required.
Discovery Air sleep comfort is provided by spacious ‘Premier Bedrooms’ with versatile front and rear access. The bedrooms are darkened to reduce light for a good night’s sleep. Light is further reduced by dark outer panels over the bedroom area. The provision of a bedroom cable port means the electric hook-up can be used to power home comforts like lights, tablets etc.
Optional extras include ‘Universal Extensions’ to provide extra protected outdoor living. Footprints and carpets provide extra protection, comfort and easy maintenance.
